After emigrating from Cuba to Miami my father wanted to find a place that reminded him of his home countries beautiful vistas, beaches and people. He found this in Los Nomadas, an  oasis of peace and tranquility. Although not his home country, the Dominican Republic was as close as he could come to going back home, hence the name “La Ilusion”.

This beautiful oceanfront home of The idyllic beach of Coson awarded the designation of “Playa con Bandera Azul” by the nonprofit green group Bandera Azul. This designation is given only to those beaches with high water quality, environmental management, security and exceptional services. The beach has perfectly calm water sections  great for children and areas with small waves. Playa Coson is exceptionally solitary and calm with little tourist development.
